In this class we will apply basic drawing principles to the study of Heads after past artists. Constructive drawing will be discussed in analyzing artists such as Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Raphael and more. Topics will include Structure, Shape, and Proportion. Artists will be discussed, short demo given, and exercises to work on. Personal 1-on-1 instruction offered throughout.
All levels welcome and supplies will be provided. Students are welcome to bring their own as well (drawing boards, tabletop easels, etc.)

Tee up for a great cause at “FORE All Abilities” Golf Tournament presented by Achieve Community Alliance, formerly United Cerebral Palsy of Arkansas. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the nonprofit’s Family Support Fund, which provides grant funding to our Northwest Arkansas neighbors with developmental disabilities and their families for adaptive equipment, medical expenses, and more. A Celebration of Choctaw Art and Culture is a partnership between ACHE and Choctaw Nation Public Arts. The reception opening will be held Thursday, April 9th, 5-7pm, with the exhibition on display through May 22nd. Celebrate the voices, stories and artistry of Choctaw nation of Oklahoma in a vibrant exhibition featuring both traditional and contemporary works. This showcase honors Choctaw culture through pieces that reflect ancestral knowledge, lived experiences and modern expression. Join Best Friends NWA and Walmart for Pawpalooza!The event takes place from 11 am to 5 pm each day from Friday, May 15, through Sunday, May 17 at the Walmart Supercenter on Pleasant Crossing Blvd, Rogers, Arkansas.
Pawpalooza is a series of events happening at select Walmart stores across the country this May during National Pet Month.
Pawpalooza will bring pet lovers together for a fun, hands-on experience. Attendees can explore pet food and treat options for their furry friends, create custom pet bandanas, and discover solutions that support their pet’s health and wellbeing.
Each event will also feature adoptable pets from Best Friends and local shelters. It’s all part of Walmart’s commitment to helping more pets find loving homes and supporting the families who love them.
Throughout May, adoption fees at all Best Friends locations are sponsored thanks to Blue Buffalo and Walmart!

Next Step Homeless Services will host a Trivia Night fundraiser on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at The Resolve Center at The Bricks, 101 N. 11th Street in Fort Smith. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the trivia contest begins at 6 p.m. Teams of up to 10 participants may register for a fee, and spectators are welcome with a cover charge. A complimentary dinner will be served at intermission. Proceeds will support programs and services for individuals experiencing homelessness in the Fort Smith community.
