Angie Maxwell, director of the Diane Blair Center of Southern Politics and Society, studies how campaign seasons relate to each other. This week, she'll give a talk at the Pryor Center for Arkansas Oral and Visual History about how southern states and the national Republican party grew closer over a half-century.
