The Momentary, an extension of Crystal Bridges of American Art, recently completed an update to its spaces. This weekend, curators unveiled its latest exhibition, “Enduring Amazon: Life and Afterlife in the Amazon Rainforest,” as part of the remodel. Ozarks at Large's Kyle Kellams visited the museum and talked with director Jill Wagar, who says the new exhibit meets the contemporary criteria.

NWA Movement Hub contributes to and promotes dance in the region, co-founded by Karen Castleman and Michelle Summers. The Hub supports Flyover Contemporary Dance Company and other artistic collaborations. Both founders have a lifelong passion for dance, choreography and dance education. Early next month, the group’s inaugural Jingle Jam at the CACHE Studios in Bentonville will celebrate many forms of dance.

The Alice L. Walton School of Medicine is currently under construction, and officials contracted Arkansas-based architecture firm Polk Stanley Wilcox to design a 2.5-acre green roof for the new campus, which will be the largest in the state. The school is also working with Fayetteville's Ozark Green Roofs to install the park-like ceiling. Ozarks at Large's Jack Travis sat down with architect Wesley Walls and Ozark Green Roof owner Lee Porter to learn more about green roofs and why they are sprouting up more frequently.

Northwest Arkansas Community College began its athletic program three years ago with a cross country team. Now, athletic director Brooke Brewer says they have expanded the program to include one of the most accessible sports available: Competitive gaming or esports.
