It has been ten years (and a few days) since Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art opened to the public. Yesterday we met with Jill Wagar, the deputy director of Crystal Bridges, to reflect on the first decade. She was one of our guests on our live broadcast from Bentonville the day the museum opened.

The new film, Molta Bella, directed by Alexander Jeffery, was created in Sicily in 18 days on a small budget. He explains how the process worked. The Arkansas Cinema Society will host a screening of the movie Friday night at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville Friday night. We also learn just a bit about a dining delicacy native to El Doraro, Arkansas.

Camp Connect is an annual summer camp hosted by Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in partnership with Project Connect, an outreach program by the University of Arkansas. The mission of Project Connect is to serve as an outreach program for families and others seeking autism spectrum specific resources in the community.

The new exhibition Crystal Bridges at 10 celebrates the Bentonville museum's upcoming tenth anniversary. The show features 10 mini exhibitions that are on display in the expanded Temporary Exhibition Gallery July 11 through Sept. 27.

Kelly and Donna Mulhollan, the duo Still on the Hill, are performing at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art this weekend. Their public performances were halted during the pandemic. and they filled the schedule with new projects.

Diana Al-Hadid: Ash in the Trade Winds debuts at the Momentary today. It joins two other exhibitions featuring works by Sarah Cain and Derrick Adams that opened in February. Admission is free to all three exhibits. Tickets are not required, but the Momentary is operating at reduced capacity.
