Immigrant Rights Advocate Weighs In on Change to Public Charge Rule

Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court lifted preliminary injunctions that had blocked Trump administration changes to the so-called public charge rule. In August, the administration announced it would allow officials to deny green cards to immigrants who are likely to need public assistance. Mireya Reith, the executive director of Arkansas United, discusses how the rule change might impact local immigrant communities.
